What is a COA?
A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is a document prepared after laboratory testing that summarizes specific analytical results for a particular batch of material.
Rather than describing how a material should be used, a COA documents measurable characteristics identified through laboratory analysis. Depending on the material and testing performed, these results may include:
- Batch or lot number
- Identity confirmation
- Purity percentage
- Analytical test methods
- Manufacturing or testing dates
- Laboratory information
Each COA corresponds to a specific production batch, helping distinguish one batch from another.
What Is Lyophilization?
Lyophilization is a preservation process that removes water from a material while keeping its structure as intact as possible.
The process involves three primary stages:
- Freezing – The material is cooled until the water inside forms ice.
- Primary Drying (Sublimation) – Under a vacuum, the ice changes directly into water vapor without first becoming liquid.
- Secondary Drying – Remaining moisture is removed to create a more stable final product.
Unlike traditional drying methods, lyophilization minimizes exposure to heat, which can be important for materials that are sensitive to temperature.
What are Peptides?

Cibinetide
